Zonke Dikana drops her highly anticipated album L.O.V.E.

Zonke Dikana, better known by her stage name, Zonke is the South African Singer/ Song-writer / Producer Zonke popularly known for her touchy message on songs like Feelings and Say Now. She is back with her highly anticipated album L.O.V.E., packed with 9-tracks.

Zonke was born in KwaZakhele, Eastern Cape – South Africa. Her father, Vuyisile Dikana, was a drummer for a group called “Black Slave and the Flamingo” while her late step mother Anneline Malebo was a singer for a musical band known as Joy. She is an alumna of the University of Bloemfontein where she graduated with a Degree in Human Resource Management in 1997.




Zonke’s rise to stardom was in 2011 following the release of her third studio album “Ina Ethe” which was certified double platinum and was nominated at the 18th South African Music Awards (SAMAs). The “Feelings” hit maker is currently signed to TMP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment.

L.O.V.E (Living Out Various Emotions) is her fifth studio album; she gives a master class in the artistry of remaining unwaveringly true to her signature sound. The songs on the album are about what Zonke calls “the craziness and different emotions of love”. Zonke Dikana is a versatile singer who can sing in English and Xhosa languages. Her musical influences include Busi Mhlongo, Miriam Makeba and Brenda Fassie.
