Amanda Benedicta Antony, better known by her stage name Amanda Black has parted ways with her management company Ambitiouz Entertainment.
It has been reported by the Sowetan and Daily Sun that the Amazulu hit-maker could not agree on certain terms with company.
“I am very grateful for Ambitiouz Entertainment and how far we have come. I am embarking on a new journey and I needed a team that would work with me in realizing the plans and dreams I have for my career going forward,” She said.
The South African singer-songwriter and recording artist said she was currently in talks with a number of management companies and weighing her options on which one will go with her brand.
Amanda Black achieved recognition in 2016 following the release of her hit single “Amazulu” which was nominated for several music awards in South Africa. Her debut studio album “Amazulu” was also certified platinum three weeks after its release.
Amanda Benedicta Antony is Xhosa; she was born in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa and grew up in Butterworth where she spent most of her early life. The songstress later moved to Port Elizabeth where she completed her high school studies at Kabega Christian School, before she proceeded to further her education at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University where she studied Music Education.
