Black Coffee has confirmed in a recent interview with Complex that he is working on some music with Pharrell Williams, Akon, David Guetta and Tom Misch.
The South African/ world-renowned producer/Disc Jockey has revealed that the collaborations will be part of his upcoming album which is in the works and hopes to released by end of August 2018.
“We’ve done the song with Akon, we’ve spent some time in studio. I actually haven’t opened that song in a while,” he says.
When asked about his dream collabo, he put Pharrell in the spotlight by confirming that they’re working on a song already. He further revealed that he is assisting David Guetta with his album.
“One of them it’s like almost happening, which is Pharrell. We working on a song already, we spent some time in studio. I’m also working, helping David Guetta doing his album, I’m in studio with him next week.”
Black Coffee aims to make the next album a world sound by accommodating everyone he loves, including South African artists.
“I’m working on my album, so I’m kinda like working with everyone that I really love. So I’m putting together this body of work that I’m hopefully gonna release by the end of August.” Black Coffee concludes the interview by applauding Tom Misch for his unique sound; and he says he want to bring him to Mzansi for a performance.
