The As’phelelanga hitmaker Vusi Nova’s latest album “Manyan-Nyan” album has reached platinum status.

This achievement was only reached in just nine weeks after the release of Vusi Nova’s fourth studio album. Fans have fallen in love with the chart-topping album, the single ‘as’phelelanga’ has done wonders and it is likely to compete with King Monada’s blockbuster song ‘Malwedhe’ which is trending worldwide.




“Am I dreaming? I can feel the love! #Manyan-Nyan is 9 weeks old and has reached platinum. With u guys by my side, anything is possible. Thank u all once again,” he wrote on Instagram.

The past couple of years has seen Vusi Nova reaching the height of his career. He was nominated twice for the Metro FM Awards for Best Afro Pop and Best Male but he did not win but the nomination itself spoke volumes.




Vusi Nova was named “Music Royalty“ after performing his song “Ndikuthandile” in front of a crowd that loved his music. The SAMA 23 came and saw the Afro Pop sensation being nominated and winning an award for the ‘Nanini na’ album. He also won two awards at the South African Afro Music Awards in 2017, winning Best Afro Album and Best male.

The South African Music Industry is slowly picking up the pieces; many South African musicians have already hit the road running for the festive. Others are achieving Gold or Platinum status on their latest albums; the likes of Vusi Nova, Dj Oskido, AKA, Distruction Boyz and Shekhinah Donnell among others.
