Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known to his fans as Prince Kaybee; a self taught DJ/producer who hails from the Free State (South Africa). His father had 36 children and being the youngest child and the only child from his mother’s side, Kaybee was faced with a lot of issues growing up. He became rebellious at a young age and ended up dropping out of high school in Grade 11.

After leaving school, he felt he was becoming a burden at home, he had made a girl pregnant and the reality of life kicked in. Struggling to cope, he packed his bags and moved out of home and stayed at friends homes. That became too much for his friends and he found himself living on the streets in Bloemfontein with no shelter, no food and only his DJ and producing talent.




He has finally released his new album titled ‘Re Mmino’ (We are Music). Coming off a successful year in 2018 with singles like Club Controller and Banomoya; Prince Kaybee paves way into 2019 with a solid release aimed at showcasing his growth as an artist, musical diversity and his depth as a producer.

The album is packed with 13 new tracks, including his lead singles; Fetch Your Life, Club Controller, and Banomoya. On this album, Prince Kaybee has worked with Msaki, Holl Rey, MFR Souls, Zanda Zakuza, Busiswa and Mthokozisi as featured guests.
